Our mission is to bring hope, comfort and encouragement to those facing breast cancer, reminding them that they are not alone. Together, we strive to bring hope and positivity to those who need it most.

Founded in 2024, the Pretty Pink Project was born out of the idea of founder Candice D. Austin, a breast cancer survivor, who has a deep desire to bring comfort to individuals facing breast cancer. Inspired by personal experiences and the courageous journeys of fellow breast cancer survivors, we saw a need to provide practical support to those undergoing treatment by assembling care bags with essentials and uplifting items to make a meaningful difference. With each bag delivered, we applaud the strength of patients, the love of their families, and resilience of the breast cancer community. Our name, Pretty Pink Project, represents not only the signature color of breast cancer awareness but also the beauty, strength and hope that shines through even in the toughest of times. The Pretty Pink Project continues to grow, fueled by compassion and a shared commitment to uplifting those in need. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers and supporters, we aim to touch as many lives as possible and remind everyone facing breast cancer that they are and will never be alone.

Founder & CEO

In 2023, Candice was diagnosed with Stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer. Throughout her journey, she found the experience to be overwhelming, from the initial diagnosis and encountering unfamiliar medical terms to facing the fear that came with it all. Still, through it all, she knew she wasn’t alone. Throughout this challenging time, she was blessed to have an amazing support system. However, Candice realized that not everyone had access to such support, and she wanted to make a difference. This realization led to the creation of the Pretty Pink Project.
